Our Lamb Program & Regenerative Grazing Practices

How Our Pasture-Raised Lamb and Adaptive Grazing Support a Regenerative Farm System

How our flock helps everything we grow.

When you sip a cup of herbal tea, spritz on Bliss Mist, or scatter Flower Fetty to celebrate something beautiful, you're benefiting from the quiet, essential work of our flock.

Our sheep are an integral part of our farm—helping to promote nutrient cycling, promoting healthy soils, and increasing soil carbon.

This is regenerative agriculture in action.

Why We Graze

Our lambs are rotated through pastures using a technique called adaptive or wholistic grazing, which mimics how animals naturally move across the land. This method builds soil health, supports native plants, boosts biodiversity, and helps us farm without the need for synthetic fertilizers or weed control.

Our adaptive grazing practices:

  • Fertilize the soil and increases soil organic carbon.

  • Allow us to prevent invasives species from going to seed while promoting the native grasses we have planted.

  • Promote fire-safe practices for our land and neighbors by reducing fuel loads and reducing “ladder material”.

  • Utilize mobile electric fences for strategic grazing and non-violent predator control.

Healthy land grows healthier herbs—and that’s at the root of everything we make.

How It Supports What We Sell

Thanks to our lamb program:

  • We are able to create high qulity compost

  • We are able to turn weeds from our garden into feed

  • Utilize the byproducts of our mushroom farm as bedding

  • Make more nutrients availble through animal’s digestion

  • Prouce nutrien dense meat, rich in Omega-3 fatty acids

We grow everything we sell—no middlemen, no shortcuts. And the health of our soil, stewarded in part by our flock, is what makes it all possible.

Whole-Farm Harmony

Our lamb program reflects our belief in farming systems that give back more than they take. It’s not just about the animals—it’s about the way they help us create a closed-loop, regenerative cycle that nourishes land, plants, and people.

When you purchase something from our farm, you're participating in that cycle. You're choosing care, intention, and transparency—from the pasture to your pantry or altar.
